Corporate matching gifts are a great way for A Loving Spoonful supporters to maximize personal contributions and increase the impact of their gift. By participating in a company’s matching gift program, you may be able to double or even triple the amount of a contribution.
Does my company match gifts?
Be sure to ask your employer if they have a matching gift fund and how you can participate. Some employers will match a direct cash donation and others may choose to donate funds based on the amount of volunteer hours the employee completes.
How do I get my gift matched?
Each company has its own guidelines for employees, spouses, retirees, and widows/widowers. Most corporate procedures are very simple and require the employee to fill out a standard form indicating the dates and times they volunteered at the charity.
